How do I find my world seed?
In Minecraft Java, open the chat in your world and type /seed. The number shown is your seed: copy it and paste it above. If your world was created with a text seed, type that same text and the viewer will convert it exactly like the game does.
Which version does the map use?
Minecraft Java 26.2, the current version, and it works equally for worlds from 1.21 onwards since generation has not changed. We tested it against worlds generated by the actual game: over 23,000 map points with 99.9% accuracy and every real structure found. One caveat: sulfur caves, the new underground biome, are not shown because the map displays the surface. Bedrock uses different generation and is not supported yet.
Which structures does it find?
Villages, pillager outposts, mansions, ocean monuments, ancient cities, trial chambers, pyramids, jungle temples, witch huts, igloos, shipwrecks, ruins, ruined portals and buried treasure in the Overworld; fortresses and bastions in the Nether; End cities; and strongholds with the portal room.
